I am a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (graduated in 2009) with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and have been working in the veterinary field as both an animal health technician and a veterinary receptionist for over 15 years.
Combining my vast knowledge of the veterinary world and the ultrasound industry is one of my greatest strengths.
I have been working full time as a human sonographer since 2009 and trained in animal ultrasound in 2013. Upon completion of my training I have been working in the field of animal ultrasound and have gained significant knowledge and built trusted relationships with veterinarians and their staff.
Throughout the years of working both in human and animal ultrasound, I have developed the skills of obtaining the most accurate images for the radiologist and or cardiologist to make an accurate diagnosis on the patient.
Along with this skill set, I have also discovered my ability to bring calmness to an agitated or anxious patient.
